Supporting the Ark

The Ark, a non-governmental charity, works in Kazakhstan to care and educate orphans and disabled children. Some of the royalties from the sale of Drinking Camel’s Milk in the Yurt are donated to the Ark to help them continue this important, life changing work with vulnerable children.

‘Drinking camel’s milk in the yurt’ sponsors The Ark project. Sending in your story doesn’t only realize our dream of the expat anthology on Kazakhstan, but were also able to help in a concrete way the “The Ark” Project.

The Ark is a no governmental and no profit organization, founded in 1997 by a group of volunteers, whose aims are the welcome, the education, the rehabilitation and the training for kids disables and orphans. From 1997 to nowadays the Ark is grown up very fast and they realized a lot of projects: medical check up for children, a dental surgery in the village, a gym, an aid grant and so on.. They need help to continue their work and we would like to give them our little support devolving part of the profit of the anthology to this association.
